![]() I mapped my download folder to this NAS, so all utorrent download activity takes place on the NAS (which should be able to handle that easily - HP Home Server, dual core with 4GB), which reduces stress on the client computer almost completely (except maybe RAM). I did this on an i7 (first gen) with limited RAM (4GB, fully used), SSD disc, 1GB LAN, NAS with write speeds up to 150 a 200Mb/s. I selected a few (about 10) large music collections. ![]() Last week I decided to fill my NAS with 'some' music. So I went on, updating utorrent every time. Sadly, no other client worked well enough. It's taking more and more computer resources without clear benefits. I've been looking for a utorrent replacement for quite some time now*.
